A body whose temperature is higher than the temperature higher than the ambient temprature spontaneously gives off heat, whereby its temperature is reduced until a balance is reached with the ambient temperature. If the body is immersed in a fluid, a process which teaches the greatest part of the amount of heat convection. Isaac Newton studied the cooling process on the basis of experimental results formulated a law that describes the cooling of the body. He noticed that the temperature change ΔΘ depends on the cooling time ∆T, the differences between the body temperature and ambient temperature Θo and cooling constants k.
We checked Newton's law of cooling by means LabKit devices. LabKIT is modern device for laboratory classes in biology, chemistry and thermodynamics. This teaching device is an interactive teaching tool for performing laboratory exercises in thermodynamics with the help of PC and Vernier sensors - LabKit. It contains predefined classes in biology, chemistry and thermodynamics.
Students made this experiment at home. Here, you can see the process of measurement:

Put the temperature sensors in vessels of water: one in the court with cold, the other in the court with hot water.
